Ever notice how everything GOD has created loves playtime?
Puppies and kittens love wrestling and my 6 week old kitten even purs the moment I start playing with her.
Even birds love playtime.
I was thinking about how God creates playtime for us. Even hide and seek for us to look for Him or the treasures He hid for us to find.
You even hear parents or gaurdians talking to their babies: peek-a-boo! I see you
smiles
Where do we learn that stuff from?
Friday night I took a sweet friend to the Worship Room after Revival service and watching her delighted my heart so much!
Like a child at play, she worshiped and spinned around and sang to God in the sweetest way.
I imagined us as children playing in His presence.
The other mommies in the room ( I think intercessors) were also smiling and happy to see her really splashing and playing in His presence.
I could almost see Daddy God picking her up and playing with her.
Then yesterday our Revival Speaker in Firestarters spoke on the God of fun. of play. that HE REAAAALLLLY IS THAT GOOD~!~!!!!!
My heart is learning a whole new perspective of God's many faceted love for HIS KIDS.
In His word He states that He is the God who hides.
Those who do not understand His ways probably do not understand what that means.
There is much more than meets the eye to that statement.
He hides for us. To be found. Playtime.
He even hides things not 'from us', but 'for us' as my spiritual dad would say.
Its time to grow into childlike-ness once again.
Not just in words but fully.
It's time to get back to the play of childhood.
God showed me something powerful about His kingdom awhile back that has completely changed my perspective of what I see.
During worship, you see many styles and ways of responses to God's love.
I started asking Daddy God about it.
He showed me babies. Some are 50 and barely saved or just new to His ways. Maybe some have been saved for years but in a religeon that didnt allow them to experience the God who plays. So when they come into His kingdom, their spirits are acting like a child does when it is learning.
Watch sometimes with the eyes of a mother or a father.
It will change how you see. I saw an adoring Daddy looking deeply and satisfyingly at His kids as they played in His presence.
I saw the love He had for each.
Even writing this has completely stirred my heart once again.
I have never felt that much love before as when I see how He loves when His kids play.
This kind of passion He has for us is to EN-JOY being with us.
It's time to reduce ourselves to playtime.
With a God who wants to teach us how to play once again.
