So, I have been reading lots of different passages this morning in different books of the bible and I came acrossed something interesting and just HAD to be curious enough to look it up..

In the book of Nehemiah, there is leader whose name is Zechariah. He is a leader of the family called Iddo. This is not the Zechariah who is father to John the Baptist, but its placement is quite important as well as the information LINKED within its passage.
Not that interesting quite yet..right?
But there is more!

So,I researched on google: what does iddo mean in the Old Testament?
This what I found:
For the purposes of this article, this reference can mean direct quotations by Jews, and called the Old Testament by Christians, or the Protocanonical books. "The Book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the Seer".
AWESOME RIGHT???
For me that is a picture of a picture.
Zechariah. the name creates a VISUAL within me of who John became. That he would come in the power and spirit of Elijah. John was the forerunner to Jesus.
Then, when I think of names, they draw me to find the meaning behind them.
In looking up Iddo, finding that it has to do with the Seer.. completely awes me!
Zechariah couldnt talk for a portion of time during his wife's pregnancy. That man was John the Baptists father who was also a priest. He became without speech during that time and had to use sign language in order to speak.
In this story of Zechariah we are speaking of first, it is a 'different Zechariah' as we've stated.
But, there is WORD PICTURE OF SCRIPTURE. Names create a VISUAL. That is what I am drawing our attention to: patterns, names and word pictures. These are areas that are of great insight for those who are hungry
Now, back to the reason for this lesson. Zechariah : John the baptist's father.
When someone has an ABILITY we say: wow they are gifted in that area, right?
So, what happens when you injure your right arm? The one you always use?
What happens to the weak one?
It BECOMES STRONG .
Zechariah spent many months during his wife's pregnancy not being able to talk.
He was not allowed to speak because when an angel of the Lord approached him and told him his wife Elizabeth would become pregnant, he doubted. She was old; passed the age of normal women. But God gave her a present: a baby in her womb that would be forerunner to Jesus.
My belief of why the angel did that was not only because of his unbelief but to keep him from speaking anything negative during his wife's pregnancy with John.
God redeems everything. Even language!
Here is the entire story in scripture:

When a person cannot see, their ability to HEAR becomes heightened so to speak ,right?
Now, when a person cannot hear, their VISUAL becomes clearer.
So, what prominant GIFTING do deaf people have?
SEEING. the SEER anointing....

When you OBSERVE the body, the VITAL ORGANS are hidden. To the human eye,they are not visible. But without them, the body's function would not work properly. Without the eyesight, where would the SEEING be?

Its important that we find out how to honor those without arms, without legs or any other deficiency our natural eye can see, amen?

From the time it is little, it is made to feel that it is not valuable to the family. It is seem by the culture around it that the visible issue makes this child somehow less valuable.
As a visitor, we would say: no it doesnt, right? That is crazy!
In OUR culture that would never be acceptable. We would never ALLOW that kind of value to hold true in our approximation of someone.
Let's walk further..
We arrive into another villiage. This time, there is a family which has been in this community for 16 generations. They have always been loved and received well.
They live in the inner circle of the community.

Then one day one of the women gets pregnant with a child. Once the child is born they find out that the child has cleft palate and in that 'community', they are told that this family now has to be rejected from the community because they child is cursed. That the devil did this to them. (we know that is not true)
What is sad is...people become afraid and are constantly trying to hurt the child.
The father can no longer provide for them because he is not allowed to be spoken to. Everyone has ousted this family due to the child who they say has a demon.
This hurts the family and keeps them from looking for God. They are all affected by the phsyical experience of someone they love.
Lets keep walking,....
Now....we arrive into the east. There is a sweet family who will be visiting the west soon, but they are in a transition because their daughter was born with no eyes. It is quite a sad position for them.

They have always dreamed of what their child would become, but with this physical abnormalty, the child is not in line for the blessings of the family.
Instead, they must travel west in hopes of a miracle.
Only a miracle would save the child.
Then she can have a normal life.
Then she can have a normal life.
Then our family can be restored.
Then... everything will be ok.
Because without this one item, her dreams will not come true.
Scenarios are GODs way of speaking.
He often used 'sight driven ' scenarios in his parables.
But what is that to the child who cannot see?
Then how can we help? What is our positition? What can we do to honor them and to honor the God who made them? What do we as a community of believers do in that scenario?
Do we say: If God doesnt give her eyes, then she must not be blessed? We would never say that right???

What I am learning is: HEALING IS THE CHILDREN'S BREAD. It is what heaven is like. In heaven, there is no cleft palates, there isnt' autism, or one less of our 5 senses and all arms and limbs are in place and the body has nothing lacking.
Just because one doesn't look like the other doesnt mean it is therefore no part of the body.
I took us far, I took us wide. I took us into territory you might have even gotten irritated in reading.
But someone in your realm of influence may need us to See differently.
To put on a new set of glasses so to speak.

Heaven sees no missing eyes. When God heals them, it is proof of heaven invading earth.
When they are not healed, we have to keep our heart right and not allow ourselves to be offended. To still believe that God is good all the time, regardless of their lack.
Right now beloveds, we have a job to do.
To BE THEIR EYES by how we teach.
To share the COLOR of the world with them.
To breathe LIFE into our words so they become palatable,.tastey and colorful,even if they have never seen color.
If they are born without arms or hands, we can do those things for them that they cannot do.

We are the hands and feet of Jesus in this scenario.
We are the LOVE of GOD in Action that the world needs to receive the fulness of the gospel.
Much work is still to be done beloveds.

We have a HARVEST FIELD THAT IS WHITE FOR HARVESTING!
BIG MACHINERY IS ON ITS WAY!
